What horror must invade the mind, when the approaching Judge shall find, and sift the deeds of all mankind [1]
Now death and nature with surprise, behold the trembling sinners rise, to meet the Judge's searching eyes [2]
Then shall with universal dread, the Book of Consciences be read to judge the lives of all the dead [3]
For now before the Judge severe, all hidden things must plain appear; no crime can pass unpunished here [4]
O what shall I, so guilty plead? And who for me will intercede? When even Saints shall comfort need? [5]
In weariness You sought for me, and suffering upon the tree! Let not in vain such labor be [6]
King of tremendous majesty, save me oh source of mercy [7]

Hamartia
03:27
|
|||
Bearing, disease and death like pestilence
Buried, in the heart of which you made man
Now His Spirit has all dominion. Glory to the wounded one
Crucified and abandoned, slain before foundations
Every rose must sift through decay
Every man will rot in the miry clay
Rejected, despised, lifted to die
Buried in the earth, your flesh mortified
Risen, exalted, forever glorified
Maranatha, we say with the Spirit and your bride

Sepulcher

When I behold myself, I go to the river
Within the dark waters, an old friend; death lingers
Rage, ruin, decay, isolation
Your image in me blemished, my body void of life
Flesh is hostile, no submission. The Spirit will cut like a knife.
Dead to self, forgotten dreams, favored wishes, vain ambitions
Abandon yourself, in death rediscover yourself. A life deprived, is a life obtained [1]
Mind restored, transposed vision, a monument in crucifixion

Wormwood
03:21
|

From Dust... To Ashes...
Weeping makes faces blood red. Eyes filled with deep darkness
There's no violence from my hands, My prayer is pure... [1] Wormwood
Justice in my hands turns to poison, righteousness buried beneath the earth [2]
Dead waters are void of movement. This womb shall not give birth [3]
My lament has no resting place, tears weighed on the scales
Defend my cause, give me grace. I dwell in the house with no return [4]
I’ve wandered aimlessly, drunk with wine and gall [5]
The fool spews threats to me. Abusive without cause. [6]
Those under the heavens, are cursed beneath the law
I will sit in silence, I too an aftermath of the fall
I am not thy equal. The abyss; my father
You have no comparable. The worm; my mother [7]

Do not look not on the open exterior, but rather cleave to the ulterior [1]
Let us measure your endeavors, to befittingly cast judgment on another
When the scales fall off of you,[2] your intentions are a reflection of your view
Your vantage point is not so clear. Renew our vision
Behold, your foundations are crumbling beneath the Earth
Our tongues scream in angst:
Day of wrath and doom impending; Heaven and Earth in ashes ending [3]
But mercy triumphs over judgment [4]
Seek justice, walk humbly, and always love mercy [5]
Mercy triumphs over judgment

Do you know what it's like to stumble over stones?
Have you sailed when the winds change?
Can you walk through a valley without remorse, just to thirst and to die again?
All I know is the desert when my heart is cold, violence shadows my every step
We all walk through a valley filled with remorse, cursed to thirst and to die again
Our gaze blinded to the heavens, Lost while deep beneath the forest.
Hidden in caverns of silence, now exiled to the darkness.
Will your hands bind the broken? Can you break the chains that hold men?
Are they free from their prison?
Our gaze blinded to the heavens, Lost while deep beneath the forest.
Hidden in caverns of silence, now exiled to the darkness.
Equity lacks with my conditions. I mourn for those with contention.
Lamenting grace as we behold it.
Seek justice, walk humbly, and always love mercy
The judge will come, bringing absolution, before the day of total retribution [1]

Children of Tyranny
03:27
|
|||
Deprecate your brothers, view them as your pawn
Your desecration is spewed with no remorse or thought
Slaves to the dark, serpents at your feet
Don't tread on their heads lest you give into their hate
Your children feel no sympathy
When they’ve succumb to the hands of tyranny
We mend broken hearts with broken bones
This place of darkness was never my home
The judge comes quickly, He will investigate everything strictly [1]
No place of mercy, children of Hell, bearer of suffering [2]
Sing to me a melody, a hymn full of malice, a hymn of bigotry
There is no unity, when your deeds inject venom inside of me.

The thought of that death hunted me, and turned everything else into nothing.”

The moral failure of our nation, our daughters speak in arrogance
Pursuing their violations, abuse is found in negligence [1]
Our minds won't seek corruption [2] We plead don't breed pollution [3]
Lives rooted in abominations [1] your fear is found in punishment [4]
Sons breathe in hypocritical mindsets, and exhale broken covenants [5]
King of tremendous majesty, save me oh source of mercy [6]
Do not pass me by [7] Do not abandon me to die
What you've done to the least of my brothers
You have also done unto me [8]

My plea; that you would never sever me; Deal with me with severity [1]
Cast me not, don't cut me off. Though I am a branch, may I never rot [2]
I will not wither, nor be thrown to fire [3]
I bear your image, apart from you I am nothing [4]
I bear your image, I live with your shadow over me [5]
I am of wind, consciousness as consequence [6]
My movement is zoetic in your existence [7]
I am the mother for you to find solace, [8] I remain in you, my home to find rest [9]
When flesh is silent, I speak for you [10] In communion, my mind is in you [11]
When you grieve, I will grieve by you. When you weep, I will weep with you [12]
